Pia Camil: Three Works: Propose a Program
The public is invited through August 31st to propose a pandemic-conscious program for Autonomous Space Rug, one of the three large-scale installations in MOCA exhibition Pia Camil: Three Works,
Autonomous Space Rug covers the entirety of the Great Hall’s floor with a patchwork of overstock carpet overlaid with a large-scale hand-painted diagram that both demarcates safe social-distancing parameters and creates a schematic inspired by decentralized methods of organization. Proposed programs may include performances, readings, meetings, panel discussions, workshops, and more. Micro-grants will be awarded to select programs.
Pia Camil: Three Works is made possible with generous support from Vantage West Credit Union; Blum & Poe, Los Angeles/ New York/ Tokyo; and Bookmans Entertainment Exchange.
Exhibitions and programs at MOCA are supported by The Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts; National Endowment for the Arts; Arizona Commission on the Arts; Arts Foundation for Tucson and Southern Arizona; and Community Foundation for Southern Arizona.
