Free Third Thursday - Build your own PocketShrine with DIRT

Every THIRD THURSDAY of the month, MOCA is open for FREE to the public from 6pm-8pm. These themed nights feature different performances, music, hands-on artmaking activities, as well as a cash bar and food trucks.

For this event, visitors of all ages can build their own “Pocket Shrine” or mini-altar with DIRT (Alan Dickson and Taylor Garcia Dickson). These personal devotional pieces can include small objects, candles, oracles, or photographs. A variety of supplies will be provided, but please bring your own special objects to create a devotional object for personal meditation. DIRT will also provide free one-card tarot readings on site.
