Aili Schmeltz: Tomorrowland

In the Great Hall, MOCA is pleased to present Tomorrowland, a solo exhibition of Los Angeles based artist Aili Schmeltz. Her work, largely an investigation of suburbia and its discontents, rides the razor’s edge of kitsch and beauty. Her most recent work engages with her adopted hometown, Los Angeles. She mines natural and synthetic landscape and excavates her own contradictory impulses and desires.
